James "Skyy Dobro" Walker’s
Top 25 CDs & Top 50 Songs for 2009

 Notes:

  1. This compilation comes from ONLY 2009 CDs that crossed my desk. There were many good ones I did not hear. For example, of the 10 Grammy nominees, only 3 came to my listening post. (Note: Ty Curtis Band was released Sept 9, 2008, but I did not get it until April 2009. It is too good to go unmentioned.)

  2. I personally reviewed 52 discs for “Blues Blast mAGAZINE” and encountered over 140 CDs in 2009, and most of those were 2009 releases.

  3. I get CDs by: 1) purchasing 2) given to me 3) sent to me to review by Blues Blast Magazine 4) received at WKCC radio station, Kankakee Community College, Kankakee IL
