IllinoisBlues.com is only 1 month old but the response from Blues Fans, Musicians, Blues Societies and Blues Festival promoters has been amazing! We appreciate your support and interest!
Our website is finally done and and we invite you to take a fresh look if you have not done so recently. You will find information on Blues shows, Blues reviews and videos of live performances, links to every Blues society on the planet plus other interesting Blues links. We now offer RSS news feeds for Blues news, links to streaming Blues radio music, a MySpace presence for Blues fans and information on other breaking Blues news.
To provide you ONE place to go for all news BLUES we are announcing a major expansion. IllinoisBlues.com now provides Blues news coverage for Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Kansas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi in addition to our current coverage. Blues Societies News
The Blues Blowtorch Blues Society in
Bloomington, IL is still accepting applications the Central
Illinois Blues Challenge on June 3, 2007 to be held at the
Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. The winner will represent BBS at the
International Blues Challenge in Memphis in early 2008.
Submission deadline is April 19th 2007.
Please contact Deborah Mehlberg at deborah464@aol.com immediately if your Illinois band is interested in competing in this event.
